- The question should assume you already use the software in question and should ask how you would apply it to your own interests.
Example:

- Wikipedia: encyclopedia-style collection of articles. www.wikipedia.org . You looked up an article on Wikipedia about a topic you are extremely familiar with - what topic is it - football, Star Trek, Roman/Greek mythology, or another topic?
- Meebo: chat across different platforms such as Googletalk, AIM . www.meebo.com . Chat or Instant Message is when you type text and another person can respond to you almost instantly. You're chatting via Meebo with that buddy you talk to all of the time - who is it - someone you've never met in person, your best friend, a relative, or someone else?
- PBWiki: create a free wiki. www.pbwiki.com A wiki is a site that can be easily edited by anyone or by only members. You create a site for an event using PBWiki - what type of event is it - a family gathering, a barbecue, an unconference, or something else?
- Del.icio.us: create and share publicly a list of your favorite websites http://del.icio.us You are looking for a website on del.icio.us to educate yourself on something interesting that you know nothing or next to nothing about - what is that interesting topic - star constellations, the stock market, lambda calculus, or something else?

Drag and drop feature is when you can click and hold on an image and move it somewhere else. - Twitter: a site that aggregates updates from the people you choose to receive updates from and allows you to post your own update. www.twitter.com You post a Twitter update (a "tweet") that you achieved a goal. What goal might you have achieved - cleaned the house, beat a video game, got a good review / grade, or something else?
- Second Life: a virtual world in which you interact with other people using an avatar. An avatar is a body you create that exists only on the computer in the Second Life world. www.secondlife.com You have 5000 Linden dollars to spend on whatever you want - what do you buy - rental property, a nice car, an exotic pet, or something else?
- iGoogle: a page you can customize with widgets. Widgets display information or become mini-windows for information from other sites. www.google.com/ig You choose an iGoogle widget that displays your personal photo album - what do you like to take personal photos of - children/family members, scenic views, trip highlights, or other subjects?
- Gmail: an e-mail provider that groups messages into conversations and allows you to access instant messaging. E-mail is a message that comes to electronic inbox/mailbox that you can access with an account, such as Gmail. gmail.google.com You just got an e-mail with a video attachment of something you find hilarious - what's really funny to you - a seagull stealing a bag of chips from a store, guys in animal suits beating each other up, a scary remix of the trailer for Mary Poppins, or something else?
- Craigslist: like the classified section of a newspaper, a site that connects people based on geography and according to need - features apartments for rent, jobs, etc. www.craigslist.com You find an ad on Craigslist in which someone is looking to buy an old game that you have and you don't play anymore but you used to play a lot - what game did you use to play but don't anymore - Monopoly, Scrabble, Twister, or another game?
- Digg:allows users to bookmark sites or content on the web publicly, so other users can see which ones are popular or based around a particular topic digg.com You post a website to Digg that is for a non-profit championing a good cause - what is that good cause - the environment, relief for poverty in the US, a particular candidate for President, or another cause?
- Yahoo: a search engine that also provides quick links to a variety of topics. A search engine is a site that provides links to websites based on a few words you provide that indicate what you want to find. www.yahoo.com You use the Yahoo search engine to look for info on a favorite song of yours by typing in the refrain - what is a favorite song of yours - "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin'" by the Righteous Brothers, "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder, "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson, or another song?
- Wordpress: a site that offers users their own free blog, or allows users to install a blog on their own site. A blog is a series of articles written on any topic that represents the writer's viewpoint. www.wordpress.com You write a post on your blog praising a store's great customer service - what store has great customer service - Best Buy, Starbucks, Target, or another store?
- Operator11: a site that allows users to direct or participate in a show using a webcam or using a chat window. Chat is like instant messaging except the messages are seen by a group of people, not just the person you're sending the message to. www.operator11.com
- Ustream.tv: a site that allows users to stream from a single webcam and allows others to participate via chat only. www.ustream.tv
- YouTube: a video sharing site that allows users to subscribe to another user's shows or search to find videos related to a particular topic. www.youtube.com
