Use this page as the whatever page - let us know what's on your mind regarding NewBCamp 08 ...
Can't seem to get editing of the list to work, so I'll add here (JoeC)
We got some more ideas from the conference calls this weekend:
- I'm thinking - advertise on craigslist for volunteers, post on their forums to generate buzz -- newbies get craigslist
- anyone interested in making a promotional YouTube video for NewBCamp?
- RI Nexus - post about it
Can't seem to get editing of the list to work, so I'll add here (JoeC)
- Session on intro to videoblogging. Would be great to get Steve Garfield down to do it. I will if he can't make it.
- Session on intro to Twitter - Bryan Person and Doug Haslam do a good one.
- Session on social media etiquette - How to contribute to the conversation in an acceptable way.
- Session on social media reputation management - What to be concerned about, how to protect your privacy and still participate.
We got some more ideas from the conference calls this weekend:
- Facebook group
- actually stream video from NewBCamp itself - a la PodCamp UK and Phil Campbell of Gravity TV (operator 11)
- to generate a conversation, start a tv show on Operator 11 about what newbies should know about whatever in technology
- Podcast recordings of sessions?
